Rock Bouncing Vendetta

Rock Bouncing Vendetta

Rock Bouncers came from all over the country for the season opener of the 2016 Southern Rock Racing Series. The race took place at Stoney Lonesome OHV park in Bremen, Alabama where they had two nasty hills for the drivers to attempt. One of which was Vendetta. Rock Bouncing Vendetta won’t be easy. It is a crazy steep and loose hill climb that before this event had never been climbed before. First up was Jason Spegal in Showstopper 2.0 buggy with its Supercharged LS motor and bullet proof axles. He hit the hill hard but just couldn’t find his way to the top rolling over and ending his run. Next up was the Da Situation rockwell rock bouncer. It hit the hill hard with the motor screaming and set the new high mark but couldn’t find the wheel speed needed to take it to the top. Next up was Danny Smith and the Warfare Buggy. He had broken the driveshaft on the first hill and only had 2 wheel drive to attempt the hill. That didn’t stop Danny. He gave the hill everything he had with 850 horsepower on tap he set a new high mark in two wheel drive! Next up was Wesley Cottin in his orange single seater buggy. He hit the hill hard on the gas with no fear and had a great run going before taking a bad bounce and sending up end over end back to the bottom of the hill and onto his lid. Next up was Travis Lovett in the Kill Shot buggy. Travis hit throttle hard and launched up the hill as he landed back into the gas and drove out the top becoming the first driver to ever conquer this climb. Many more drivers conquered the climb after this but one of the fastest was Brandon Davis in Showtime 2.0 who went on to take the overall event win.
